We did a drive-thru for our civil ceremony, and though it was beautiful and heartfelt, we felt completely hustled by the chapel. They tried to pressure us into giving a 200% tip, and though they promised to expedite the paper work because my FH was on leave and had to get back east, they stalled for 3 days(they can legally wait for 10). We kept on them and got our certificates, but the same day we got a solicitation in the mail(we live in Vegas) for a "paperwork expedition service" that charged 150% more to have your marriage certificate done more quickly.

But don't let it get to you. Depending on what you want to spend, there are great weddings to be had there. I'm down on the strip a lot these days, so I'll snoop around. We're having our formal ceremony in the fall, at the Venetian. 'Mail me if you have any questions. We've already researched a ton of wedding chapels.
Reply:Relax and take a deep breathe. its going to be fun. enjoy this time before your wedding. I've been to wedding in Vegas and they feel rush. Would it be appropriate to send my mother a dozen plastic pink flamingoes, as opposed to the traditional dumb flowers?? You have anything that might tip off people passing by?

Do you have any "rainbow" items prominently displayed in front of your home or property?
I don't think I need a rainbow flag for my neighbors to know we have a queer household...2 older men living together seems to be a big tip off, even to the straight crowd here. And, everyone here likes us, loves that we have totally remodeled the house and made it a show place (is that gay, or is that gay?), have total privacy with plantings, and created a microworld within the fences and plants. The neighbors come a knocking at the gate every now and then to come and see the latest project. The koi pond with water falls seems to be a big hit. Rainbow flags???? Nope, don't need them.
Reply:haha, nope. I live with my parents, they would go insane.
Reply:I don't own a thing with a rainbow on it. which is pretty much the same with a few of my gay friends
Reply:My roommate and I just got some little rainbow flags that we put around our deck.
Reply:i want to get a flag but right now i have a pride sticker on my car and a rainbow colored lei hanging from my rearveiw mirror
Reply:no i really need to get something.
Reply:I had one displayed in my barracks room when I was in the Navy.
Reply:I had an Arcade Fire poster in my dorm room.
Reply:not really but i have like a rainbow belt withe a honda seatbelt buckle on it. ive only worn it a couple times so my mom doesnt see
Reply:No, I don't have anything like that. But I do wear a rainbow ring I got at Pride a few years ago. I've gotten nothing but good compliments on it.

And Jay, our 'sign' is a show of our pride. It is to show people that we ARE here, and that we aren't going to let anyone beat us down. It is a symbol of togetherness. Straight people DO have symbols. They are everywhere you look. So please, don't tell me you don't have any.. :)
Reply:I have a fan that can change weather patterns and thusly if conditions are favorible and the angle of the dangle is correct it just may create a rainbow.
Reply:No, I have rainbow mardi gras beads scattered through out my apartment though.
Reply:only on my cars. But I'm sure my neighbors know.
Reply:All the window frames, front door and veranda posts are painted yummy lilac. My house is the 'cute' house lol. I have a rainbow pendant that I wear when Im going out ... other than that no not really
Reply:Nothing I am afraid. The flamingos sound nice but there us really no room for them.

I have named many of the plants for LGBT friends though.

Rainbows Rule,

Rose p.
Reply:i have a rainbow bumper sticker on my car
Reply:Yes. 4 big paper mache' butterflies hanging on the screen door. Pink, yellow, violet, peach.

--- You want one? I'll send you.
Reply:Yeah I have a rainbow colored butterfly right by my mail box. I don't think it's enough to make people think I'm gay but its something! =P
Reply:Nope, I dont think its something you should flaunt especially with all the mean people out there that look to hurt people that are different than them. Straight people dont have signs so why should gay people have them?
Reply:I live above a pizza shop here in Sydney, Australia that my flatmate owns and we have two rainbow flags in our cafe window, and a pink-tinted bottle of olive oil with chilli peppers in it.

We don't feature these flags to *advertise* our sexuality to make gay guys come in and swoon at us, but to make a statement about the HARMONY of DIVERSITY and the VALUE of APPRECIATING THE EXPRESSION OF LOVE - GAY or STRAIGHT.

flowers babyKITTYhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02892038820750479120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-771142520571408896.post-70878073011008180852009-04-26T07:03:00.000-07:002009-04-26T07:03:09.364-07:00I really like my neighbors flowers and lawn ornaments. So I keep taking them for my yard. He just realized??My neighbor has really pretty flowers and a lawn jockey, flamingos, etc. Little by little, I have been taking his lawn ornaments and uprooting his flowers and putting them in my yard. He's old and seenisle and can't see across the street to know. This weekend, the mailman put some of my mail in his mailbox by mistake. He came over to give it to me and noticed and he is really pissed. He wants me to give it back but I think they look better in my yard. He says he's not going to call the police and finds it somewhat comical that I admired his garden so much I would take from it. He was really pissed at first but he told me to just do whats right and make good.

I think I should keep it all because it looks much better in my yard and I have recieved numerous compliments on my garden. I think a nice gesture is to buy him a few savings bonds or gift certificate to Wal-Mart something. Since he's old, he will probably appreciate that. What do you think?

I really like my neighbors flowers and lawn ornaments. So I keep taking them for my yard. He just realized??
lol well just ask where they get them
Reply:I'm a Gardner, if anyone ask, I give them plants for free, and yes I like my garden art, and if it was me, I would call the police, and put your sorry *** away, you are a very troubled person, and you should be ashamed of yourself, go apologize and return all items, buy new ones and you should clean all of his flower beds out, and replant all of his new ones. You should also have to put a very very large sign up in your front yard, I am a neighborhood thief and elderly person abuser!!!!! Then see how everyone compliments you on your lovely yard!
Reply:I don't beleive a word of this question!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I think you should listen to your neighbor and do what is right, which is give him back all his lawn ornaments, plants and flowers and go buy your own!! That is called stealing and how could you possibly be proud of something you didn't plant yourself!
Reply:I tell you what.. if your so stupid to post this why not give us your phone number, address and real name so we can report you....

Picking on an eldery person, stealing from them, ripping out all thier hard work. You should be reported for eldery abuse, theft, and harrassment.

Next go to your local church and beg forgiveness. How many commadments have you broken over your childish pranks.
Reply:What do I think?

I think you are evil..................
Reply:An old neighbor, and you want to get him a Savings Bond? Duh, listen to yourself! I think you are just posting here to stir people up. But, if not, give him his garden stuff back! It is here and now for him, at his advanced age. He enjoys it NOW. A Savings Bond? What, so his heirs can inherit it? Give me a break. Either take this old dear out to lunch and then to the garden center to replace his stuff or give the original stuff back. If you really did these things to a senior citizen, I hope you are in California and that the DA prosecutes you for elder abuse and theft if you don't put it right!
Reply:I think you're immature %26amp; cheap. I also think it's called theft %26amp; possession of stolen property if he does come to his senses %26amp; calls the cops. You steal from the elderly, do you steal from children %26amp; the disabled too? I hope you don't live near me.

KITTYhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02892038820750479120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-771142520571408896.post-58602649585517036622009-04-26T07:02:00.001-07:002009-04-26T07:02:52.967-07:00MOBILE HOME DECORATIONS: Which looks the best? PINK PLASTIC FLAMINGOS or COLORFUL PLASTIC FLOWERS?My interior decorator, Mr. Bruce, is on vacation in Arkansas-the entire clan is coming over for the big party! Eula-Jean is promising

to wait until marriage before she has sex, and the family is smoking

a ham in honor of her pledge! I need suggestions on how to decorate my single-wide----I have a limit of $15.00 to shop either at

Walmart or K-mart....maybe even the Dollar Store! I can sure use your advise...Gay men especially (they are SO GOOD at doing that

sort of thing!) We All Thank You!!!

MOBILE HOME DECORATIONS: Which looks the best? PINK PLASTIC FLAMINGOS or COLORFUL PLASTIC FLOWERS?
You get ten points for the best question!

P.S. I don't believe Eula-Jean has the will-power to wait, remember she is already 13!
Reply:Oh please. Throw out the imitations and go out and pick some real greenery from the country round about. It'll look much better. Have a happy party!
Reply:No, No, you are going completely in the wrong direction with this. You need at least one broken kitchen appliance (preferable a refrigerator) And a couple of car engines up on blocks.

Strategically placed in the yard, you are sure to be the talk of the trailer court.
Reply:The old tires around back can be spray painted bright spring colors, then used as flower beds in the front yard. For an added touch, cut the top into little points, so it look like a big SUN. As the tire ages, the points will curl and face up.

Flamingos are OK - but nothing says class like a Lawn Jockey! They might be slightly more expensive and more difficult to find, though.

As for the plastic flowers - are you talking about the spinning ones? Those are a must! They will also help keep birds out of your lovely new tire-planters.

Good Luck!
Reply:i love you and your questions!
Reply:GO WITH THE FLAMINGOS, THE PLASTIC FLOWERS LOOK RETARDED
Reply:I personally like the old classic "Used Tires Painted White". You can put your plastic flowers and flamingoes inside the tire for a modern, up to date look.
Reply:i'd definately go with the flamingos. it has a certain "classic" look to it.

KITTYhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02892038820750479120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-771142520571408896.post-33510758317725115552009-04-26T07:02:00.000-07:002009-04-26T07:02:36.735-07:00What should i get around my flamingo?im not sure what i should get around my flamingo...

i was thinking like tropical flowers but...

im not sure my flamingo is on my back hip kind of by my butt i want to have something around it because my old friend has the same one and i dont want to get it covered because i love flamingos

so idont know waht i should get

what do you think?

What should i get around my flamingo?
Why not have some oasis trees and a beautiful sunset?
